favorite movie

I watched a Mexican movie, Sin Nombre, in March this year. I love the scenes, story line, setting background and way the director perform his thoughts.
It is a story about seeking freedom either from the bondage of gang, or for a better life. It is two stories about a girl, Sayra, in an odyssey immigrating to New Jersey, and a boy, Willy, in a Mexican gang who lost lover because of the gang leader and wanted to get rid of his violent past. The two characters met in a gang rob mission on a freight car, when the gang leader was about to ravage Sayra.
It is a good reflection of Mexico society nowadays, including the culture of gangs, and phenomenon of the illegal immigrants searching American dreams, and so on.
I remember the most when Willy was chased by the gangster in the end. Sayra was just about to accross the river by a big buoy with the deliverer. I even cried out.
Sin Nombre is kind of a literary film. Many people may find it boring to watch films that are too serious or obscure. But i like it anyway.

My Favorite Song

Eyes on Me was performed by my favorite singer Faye Wong. It is the theme ballad of the game Final Fantasy VIII.
I love Faye Wong not only her beautiful voice, but also the passion she put in every single songs she sang. Whenever I feel tired or stressful, her music makes me relax. Whenever I feel sad or got depressed through complex work and relationship, her voice makes me calm down. The lyrics of her songs are always soft and moving, I can understand the stories she is telling and sometimes I even feel she is telling my stories.
